Decent, cheap memory

- Summary:
- After reading a lot of peoples' troubles with rebates from Patriot, I was NOT expecting to get anything back from them (and factored that into my price when I bought it). However, I followed their instructions to the letter and got my rebate in about 6 weeks. As other people have said on other sites, you MUST do EXACTLY everything they say, including printing and using their shipping label. It seems like they'll deny you for any reason. Shady, yes, but just about all manufacturers do it.
Decent Products with bad rebate scam

IE. the clearance between the memory and my Thermalrite Ultra 120 Extreme heatsink is 1-2mm so changing out the ram would require removing the CPU heatsink but that is also a fault of the Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H layout. - Summary:
- The Rebate is a big scam to make the price look lower. Even if you send all the required items you will not get the rebate because they will claim that you did not send the required items.
If you really want to get your rebate you probably have to send half a dozen copies of the same rebate, take photos of everything your about to send and make a video of you putting it all together and putting it in the mailbox.

- Over all I am pleased with the performace of this ram. Only problem is it crashed after 4 days on stock settings. I went on line only to find out at stock voltages the ram has a problem. Once I increased the voltage the ram ran smooth and has run flawlessly for the last 2 months.
