- This memory works on an AMD or Intel mobo! if your having compatibility issues it's because your processor don't support it! you have a weak processor this memory needs a am3 mobo and processor for AMD it would be a phenom ii X3 or higher for intel a dual core peice of !@#$#@ you also should check ur bios! this memory is >>unganged<< and works at exactly 1333mhz with cas latency >9< 9 9 24
- Weaknesses:
- none at all! buy a processor and motherboard that supports it !
- Summary:
- Asus m4a88td-v evo + phenom ii x4 955 black ed. i'm overclocking @ 4ghz and Patriot is great memory! Just because it was designed around a intel p55 chipset >>does not mean it don't work on a AMD mobo! that's a myth ...... memory is universally manufactured wooh
Very happy

- Strengths:
- -Built in heatsinks
-Fast and reliable
-it's RAM, easy to install/upgrade
- Weaknesses:
- -None so far
- Summary:
- Patriot seems to be hit or miss for some people but I haven't had any bad experiences so far, and in the one case I did their support+replacement people were very helpful.

- Strengths:
- Price tag is Great only $39.99 when on sale.
Works great on on Asus M4A87TD-EVO runing a AMD Athlon II 4x 630 and A Asus P7H55-M Pro runing a i5 760.
Heat Fins make it great for overclocking.
- Weaknesses:
- um um nothing.
Mail in rebates SUCK
- Summary:
- Mark you may not have a nuff power running a 450 watt power supply with a quad core and you did not say what your video card is but if you are runing a 5770 ,5830 ,5850 ,5870 ,6850 or a 6870 and of corse you are not running a 5970 you most likey will not have a nuff power. So if you are running a 5850 that takes 250-300 running at maximum that would leve you 150 watts for every thing. Your ram is proboly defective so if you have a ipr i would take it back And i would get a better power supply.

- Having blue screen of death periodically.
Mail-in rebate.
- Summary:
- AMD X4-640 with M4A88T-M, 450W PS, running dual channel. Auto mode only detect 1066 MHz (or 533 Mhz). Ran fine for first couple hours. Then after installing a couple of program, it started to crash randomly. Un-installed ATI CCC, it crashed less. Running better with just 1 2-Gb stick.
