Space efficient and aesthetically pleasing

- This stand holds my 51" Plasma TV nicely. I was considering a wall mount but this provides more flexibility and surface area without sacrificing too much floor space. With my TV being a few inches wider than the stand, and only being about 21" deep, the footprint feels really efficient. The tilt and swivel range is great for a plasma screen in the living room area to avoid reflections during the day too. A great improvement over stock stands with no tilt for plasma TVs.
- Weaknesses:
- 3 of the screws were faulty. I have a proper set of screwdrivers and was definitely using the right size, but some of the screw heads were malformed. I nearly had to drill parts of the tops out to get any screwdriver in with enough fit to torque it. Normally I wouldn't put that as a weakness, but it was actually 3 entirely different screws. Maybe I was just unlucky. Considering the 33 pound capacity on the glass shelves I wouldn't consider this child safe. Not that anyone should think it is...
- Summary:
- Overall I'm satisfied with it. It looks pretty sleek with the black and glass border on the 2011 Samsung Plasma I have. I have a minimalist setup without a need for a large entertainment unit so this is perfect for me.

- I think the weakness of this unit depends on the weight of the TV being used. I got this stand for my Samsung 71 series. This LED set is a tad heavy. The Zen-Tech stand can handle it, but the the swivel section tends to allow the Set to lean from the uneven weight distribution balance of this particular LED set.
So leveling is gonna take a bit more effort. As well, I am a tad worried bout the glass base. - Summary:
- If ya don`t mind the Glass base supporting your investment, and have 1 of the newer lighter weight LED sets, this is prolly gonna be an ok stand for you.
