Good but not worth 300$

- I picked up this monitor and got it home, at first I thought it was awesome... about five mins into gaming I noticed a massive light bleed along the bottom of the monitor about .5 cm out from the bezel. It was so bad that it was washing out the blacks into a deep blue haze. Nothing wrong with the panel in well lit areas but ensure you check yours over for bleed. From what I understand the 278q (LED) model does much better with this. Returned mine for Samsung S27A350H

Great Monitor for gaming

I don't need Composite, Component or S-Video on my computer monitor. - Weaknesses:
- Base could be firmer, if you push a button, the monitor will shake for a bit.
No Power indicator LED like my iMac! Is it Off or on Standby? - Summary:
- Monitor has numerous preset modes but I will make my own optimal setting for all uses. A bit bright out of the box.
Won't try the speakers, don't care about them.
Bezel is nice size, no huge underhang like some.
