Great mouse, Several seriouse problems

- Electrically vulnerable!! extremely useless driver software - win7 default driver software works fine Because the driver software is so bad, many features of the mouse are relatively worthless (second scroll wheel, profiles - though the precision aim button is nice) Poor longevity
- Summary:
- First off, this mouse has serious grounding issues. My first mouse died after about 20 minutes of use. Once the manufacturer drivers where installed the mouse shocked me and died! After receiving a replacement mouse from the retailer, the mouse persisted to be extremely vulnerable to static shock. It wouldn't kill it, but it would trip some sort of breaker and cause the mouse to stop working until it was unplugged or the computer was rebooted. The second mouse only lasted 11 months. Poor reliab.
RAT 5 disappointment

- Mouse will not stop crawling in windows. It keeps moving which prevents the screen savers from working and also makes clicking on anything impossible. On line forums agree with this problem and no word from Saitec about a fix

- I am returning this product and staying away from Saitek products.
