- Strengths:
- - Simple and straighforward
- Works as a USB backup drive solution
- Weaknesses:
- - ZERO support. If it doesn't work, forget about it. Chinese company with only an email address that they do not respond to.
- Do not know how long it will take for the duplication. Did a pair of new drives and somehow screwed up the SOURCE disk as well. Simple to follow the instructions, so I highly doubt it is user error.
- Summary:
- Buy a more reputable brand name as this is cheap, but there is a reason why.
Good but

- Strengths:
- Does what you want it to do (duplicates hard drives!)
- Weaknesses:
- Hard to tell that its working, or when its done. Had to put my stethoscope to the hard drive to tell if it was still running or not.
Some kind of good "I'm finished" indicator (maybe shutting down) would be helpful.
- Summary:
- Great if you just have one drive to copy (and get set it running overnight, or for a few hours to be sure its done), but if you have a few that you want to copy, then you're going to be knocking your head against the wall.
Works amazingly well!

- Strengths:
- - relatively compact in size
- standalone (no computer required)
- USB 2.0 SATA connection into computer for hard drive quick access
- Weaknesses:
- - no support for IDE
- little slow on large hard drives
- a little expensive for what it actually does
- Summary:
- I use this product for making ghost copies of client workstation and server hard drives. Allows me to minimize total downtime when something "bad" occurs. Being proactive versus reactive is a real win!2 Also works really well when upgrading hard drives in game consoles like the XBOX 360 or PS3. Just plug in the slow 5400RPM hard drive and transfer all data to a same size, or larger, 7200RPM hard drive and you're laughing! Thanks Bytecc - ingenious!!
Impressive

- Awesome disk to disk copy. I had a failing 1TB drive with bad sectors and wanted to copy to a new 2TB drive. I was very impressed that it was able to do this. I ran dskchk on the new drive after copy, and it resumed a failed dskchk from the old drive. Simply amazing. I am also to use it just to access external drives.
- Weaknesses:
- I didn't know it was working. When you press the button the second time, make sure the BLUE lights are on. You wont see much blinking. I didn't see much blinking or noise, so I wasn't sure it was working. It would be nice to have better indicators.
- Summary:
- Great buy, it really works.
Works great.

- Strengths:
- Easy to use.
Fast.
- Weaknesses:
- No control over target drive partitioning. (would have given a 5/5 if you could control this directly)
- Summary:
- I needed to upsize my laptop's drive from 160Gb to 320Gb . I plugged this in wtih the two drives, powered it up in duplication mode. In under an hour (sorry, I don't like paint drying, so I went out for a run rather than watching the blue LED flash) the duplication completed.
Booted into Windows, drive was detected, drivers were installed automatically, and rebooted. The new drive had a 160Gb partition, and 160Gb was unallocated. New parttion + format = Good to go!
