- Strengths:
- great board cheap price, easy to overclock and unlock cores
- Weaknesses:
- large vid card will take up sata ports, non stock cooling eats up 2 ram slots
- Summary:
- cheap price, great little board, I own two and have had zero problems. Gotta like it.

- Small, inexpensive, easy to mount, reliable, and sturdy, I took this board all the way down to quakecon from Calgary 1500 in the back of the van still mounted to the case and had no problems. Easy to unlock multiple cores and overclock the AMD Phenom™ II X2 555 Black Edition which I purchased. Also the stock heatsink is weaksause, I grabbed a Freezer 7 pro revision 2 at memory express for 15.00 and used that instead. it uses up the first two ram slots, but with the price of ram right now, i'm no
- Weaknesses:
- my 5850 runs smack into the sata ports - OUCH! I still have 2 ports left but hey...word is revision 2 fixed this.
Also my Freezer 7 pro revision 2 eats up two ram slots, but I'm not overly concerned since ram is dirt cheap right now.
- Summary:
- Just a great little board for the price point, very reliable, just look for revision 2 if you can! Take care and good luck with your purchases. :-)
AWESOME

So far so Good (sort of)

- Strengths:
- Cheap, 6 core support.
- Weaknesses:
- Corsair Vengence cl9 Ram 8gb kit seems to only run properly at 1600mhz in slot 3 and 4. If put in slot 1 and 2, computer occasionally freezes with ram at that speed. Weird. (3 and 4 gives more room for a cpu cooler anyway)
Not sure of an aftermarket cpu cooler that will fit this board. (if someone does write it here)
Some people have had trouble with mosfets overheating when using 6 core cpus, but for 10 bucks and some research you can stick some heatsinks on them and problem solved.
- Summary:
- Decent board, no problem running my son's budget gaming rig (athlon II x4 645, 8gb ram GTX 460 1gb oc.) without any additional cooling.
If I upgraded to a 6 core, I would get some mosfet heatsinks, and hopefully a decent cpu cooler that will actually fit this baord so I can overclock a bit.
Great mobocracy

- Strengths:
- I have owned this mobocracy for about a year now and it has not given me one problem. This mobo over clocks very well for it's price tag, and this board is compatible wit AMD 6 core CPUs.
- Weaknesses:
- No sata3 but who really uses it?
- Summary:
- overall this is a great product and I would buy a gigabyte product again withou hesitation.
Good price, 6 core support.......Breaks after 4 months of use.

6 Core Support
Dual BIOS
(about all I can think of)
- Weaknesses:
- Well, it stopped working one day, the BIOS chip (s) actually had some kind of meltdown (so much for this amazing "dual BIOS") which left me testing all the parts several times, using different monitors, basically everything you could do. I didn't buy a cheap PSU either, I bought a good quality one, and never overclocked the thing. SATA port placement is horrible. It was complete crap now that I think of it....
- Summary:
- If you know whats good for you, don't buy this motherboard. I don't think I even want Gigabyte to replace it, id rather not wait 3 weeks and buy from a better brand.
Burned out mosfets while running hex core

- Strengths:
- Great feature set
- Weaknesses:
- No heatsink on VRM or MOSFET's
- Summary:
- After running this board with a Phenom II 1055T (stock speed) for only a few days, some of the mosfets burned out (visible burn marks on them, and on motherboard). Beware of this board if you are running a hex core, unless you are willing to add heatsinks onto the mosfets. I really wish more matx boards would come with heatsinks on the vrm and mosfets.
Works great.

Well built
Good value
- Weaknesses:
- Easytune 6 software does not work with Win 7/64 (The one supplied with cd)
- Summary:
- I paired it up with a Sempron 2.8 and unlocked the second core. Good choice for a media pc.
Pretty good board

- Strengths:
- price
good igp
well made (pcb and capacitors)
backup bios
ACC allows unlocking cores
on/off charge in BIOS F5
- Weaknesses:
- SATA port placement is terrible
- Summary:
- a big card like the 5850 obstructs access to the SATA ports, revision 2 corrects this (and adds the newer SB)
