Batteries Do Not Last, 3 feet Distance, Scroll Wheel not Durable

1/5

Joel Schulz from Calgary writes:
Strengths:
None
Weaknesses:
The battery lasts about a month, the range is only 3 feet and the scroll wheel broke down in four weeks. It was not heavily used.
Summary:
Those looking for reliability and durability, buy a different product. Memory Express has much to choose from. I hope ME will exchange.

decent mouse

Strengths:
- great for the price (got it for $10)
Weaknesses:
- big receiver - found access to battery a bit awkward
Summary:
After reading the 'worst range review' I tested the range on mine. It worked fine from across the room (15 feet or so). I also have a 3500 which I think is better designed. I got the 3000 for $10, so it is a great mouse at that price.

Wireless Mouse for 10 bucks, what else do you want?

Alwin from Richmond, BC writes:
Strengths:
- Wireless - Portable Size - Batteries Included
Weaknesses:
- Very Short Distance Coverage (roughly 2 feet) - Won't turn off unless you stick the USB detector to the bottom slot
Summary:
For 10 bucks, this is very decent for a laptop PC. You pay what you get. If it was $29, I would't even bother buying this mouse. Get it now when it's just 10 bucks!

This is a fantastic mouse. Buddy doesn't know what he's talking about!

Peter from Canmore writes:
Strengths:
- inexpensive
- Microsoft product
- batteries included (long battery life too!)
- wireless
- comfortable
- accurate
Weaknesses:
- no Nano receiver
- packaging is ridiculous, especially hard to stack on top of one another
Summary:
This mouse, for the price you pay, is far superior to anything in this price range. Don't know what "buddy" is on about except for it sounds like he was having a bad day and taking it out on this mouse. Maybe he got a dud? Who knows. Try it, love it, keep it... or try it, hate it, return it. This is Memory Express, not Future Shop or Best Buy - they don't complain about returns if you have all packaging, sales receipt and you're within the return policy time-frame. A good buy. A+

Worst Range EVER

Nick from Winnipeg writes:
Strengths:
Imagine having a car with the nicest interior, great trunk space, command start, and heated seats, but you could only drive 30cm. The strengths wouldn't matter--so they don't matter on this mouse.
Weaknesses:
Don't be fooled by reviews on the web and Microsoft's site. This does not have a 30ft range. It has a roughly 30 cm range, and even at that range, it gets sketchy.
Summary:
I've owned quite a few wireless mice and this is by far the worst. Avoid at all costs.
