I eventually had to stop using them after the subwoofer unit started making a loud 60hz hum.

these speakers are LOUD! and they are very good bang for your buck. i purchased 15 years ago...they finally died...the boom box died a year ago, and the little speakers just died two days ago and i just replaced and WOW! I forgot how LOUD these suckers are when the box works too! i was totally satisfied with just the lil desk units for a year!!! And NOW i've got music for the whole house again, just from this lil set! i LoVE this when you can get something that works for years and is great and is a fair price too. Great speakers. Get some.

i can't turn it up all the way cuz it distorts but seriously, it's really loud at the 80% and fills my 3 bedroom home with music.

I’ve had these speakers for as long as I can remember (10+ years) and they are still great! For the price, you really can’t go wrong.

Of course, these are not high end speakers, but fantastic for what they cost.

They sound fine, for $55.00 you will not be disappointed. No, they don't sound as good as my $1000.00 Mirage towers. They are computer speakers. Get over it...

Excellent quality sound for the price. Loud enough to fill a room alright. The sub-woofer is powerful enough to make great sound quality.

The volume wheel is flaky. I have to adjust it just right so that I can actually get balanced sound out of both speakers. I do not, however, believe that this is a problem with every unit. I probably just got a bad one.
