- Strengths:
- - Size (big hand)
- Fast DPI
- Weaknesses:
- - No LED Light
- Summary:
- At first I bought the G300 but decided to go with G500 instead. The G300 looks sexy in the dark as G300 has the LED light on the side of the mouse but G300 just too small for me. At the end I went with G500 as the DPI is higher (I'm using 5700 all time, 2500 is not enough) and larger for my hand. Good mouse..
Good all around mouse

- Strengths:
- Very accurate
Adjustable dpi is a great feature; 5700 is way higher than I will ever use
Adjustable weights let you have a heavy mouse
Tracks on just about anything
Excellent for gaming without being too gaudy
- Weaknesses:
- None for me, but is built exclusively for right handed use
- Summary:
- Good mouse at a good price
Getting used to it, but really starting to like it

- Strengths:
- Feel, I love the way it feels in my hand which is criteria #1 when buying a mouse, I've been using Microsoft mice for a long time and was super happy with the Intellimouse Explorer 3 for a lot of years, but cant find them anymore so I took the dive and bought one
Love the adjustable weight set that comes with it, I loaded mine right up as I like a mouse with some weight to it.
a kabillion DPI..........not sure who can use it on the highest DPI setting, I know I sure cant use it on the highest!
- Weaknesses:
- I don't like the middle clicke button for zoom/scope in games, it takes way to much effort to click the button down and I often end up switching weapons instead of zooming :( It seems to be wearing in slowly and not taking as much effort as it did when it was new, but still way to damn hard to push easily and not have it roll under your finger
5700 DPI is a bit much, I generally have it set around 1000-1200DPI, not sure what the applications are for that you could use 5700 DPI...
- Summary:
- Overall I'm quite happy with the mouse, the middle mouse button is my only beef with the mouse

- best mouse iv'e ever owned. perfect for people use a palm grip style
- Weaknesses:
- the scroll wheel feels a little cheap and the fast scroll button should be taken off. useless.......
and the mouse is a bit ugly compared to the g6
- Summary:
- minor weaknesses. would recommend to anyone with a palm grip style grip. claw grippers better off with the g6
Great mouse with a major issue

- Strengths:
- Almost everything is an improvement over the G5, the higher DPI, extra thumb button and unlocking scroll wheel.
- Weaknesses:
- Both mouse I bought from the store had an issue where the cursor would shake after I stopped moving it. I returned it and got another which WAS fine but now began to do the same thing. There are quite a few cases on the internet about this.
- Summary:
- Now on my 3rd G500 that Logitech mailed to me for free, will see if this one has the same issue....
Fantastic mouse for day to day and gaming

- Strengths:
- - 3 variable speed options, customizable from 200 - 5700DPI
- Textured grip on the sides
- 5 custom buttons, plus scroll wheel buttons (All customizable to do anything)
- Weight adjustment
- Scroll-wheel "lock". Theres a button to release the "lock" on the scroll wheel so it free spins. What this means, instead of manually scrolling down to the bottom of 30 pages, or a very very long document/website - simply flick it and the wheel will freespin, scrolling extremely fast in whichever direction
- Weaknesses:
- - May be a little big for people with small hands
- Price is a somewhat high, but if you get a lot of use out of it, I find it worth it
- Summary:
- I bought this as my old Logitech G5 was starting to die (Holding the mouse button down without it popping up by accident) so I bought this new generation of it. Still feels pretty much like my old one with a few extra buttons and features. I got 6 years of life out of last one. Even if this new one lasts half as long, it would still be worth it to me. This style of mouse is by far the best i've ever owned.
The best mouse for all...who are right-handed

- Strengths:
- - excellent and comfortable right-handed design
- huge sensitivity range
- on-the-fly sensitivity
- weight system gives the mouse some mass
- lots of buttons
- same sensitivity than more expensive mice out there
- super-special-awesome scroll wheel can go through a lot of pages quickly
- Weaknesses:
- - not for left-handed users
- I don't really know anyone who will be using 5700dpi (it's crazy)
- could use some heavier weights
- I really like the wired/wireless option of the Mamba and the Sidewinder X8
- I still think Razer products look better
- Summary:
- This was a really great product and I couldn't have asked for a better mouse. The right-handed design fits my hand really well. The shape is just awesome. The sensitivity with 5 settings is really good for FPS's and also just for general use when you need to be more accurate with programs such as photoshop.
It has that rusted look which some people like and some people don't. I personally don't mind it, but I would have liked a Razer sort of look.
