- I bought 2 of these fans. 1 month later, and one was so imbalanced that its bearings are shot and it won't work. The other one is still going strong. We'll see how potentially dealing with Cooler Master goes. I run these off a controller, at a speed where they're inaudible. They still move a decent amount of air, but if I ramp up the speed, they become quite noisy. I never need to ramp up their speed though, so all's well for me. Decent fan, would be 4/5, but -1 for the failed fan.

Tried turning them down with resistor wire but the wire got extremely hot
potential fire hazard. A no no with LED's i guess. - Summary:

- These fans are really good. I replaced my Antec 900 II case fans with 3 of these. Up to ~1300rpm they are super quiet and still move a lot of air, and even at max 2000rpm they are quite a bit quieter than the stock case fans.
They also boast very high static pressure, so they should be great on heatsinks and radiators.

- Using two in combination with a zalman cnps10x flex cooler. Using a voltage controller they are nearly silent while pushing a lot of air and can be ramped up to provided amazing air flow and cooling. Oddly enough the two I bought were two different shades of blue, but this ended up making for a neat effect on the cooler.

- These are huge and blow air like noone's business - don't have stray papers lying in it's path!
I bought two of these 12cm fans and one of them was slightly louder than the other, but both are still quieter than my old 8cm fans. The blue led lighting is softer, easy to sleep by, not too bright.
The 'long life' is because of the bearings and sleeves, and these should last about twice as long as 'regular' fans. Great stuff.
