These 2.1 speaker system doesn't take much space, and sounds great. The sub has great bass levels. Easy to set up.
Weaknesses:
The speakers should be two way.
Bass control should be with volume pod. Pain in rump to always crouch to adjust bass volume.
Speakers are a little on the pricey side, $149.99 would be just right.
Treble and mid-range clarity
Very powerful bass with a space efficient design
Eye catching satellite design with a notable quality construction
Smooth volume control pod w/ aux & headphone jack
Low standby power consumption
Easy straight forward plug'n'play.
Weaknesses:
Slightly expensive when compared to other competitors
Summary:
The Creative Gigaworks T3 is a speaker system that aims to top the 2.1 PC speaker market, which I think, they did. The 2.1 system is comparable to Bose Companion 3, and Logitech Z2300. In my point of view, the T3 successfully stands out in the crowd by having a very well balanced attributes of range, clarity, bass, and design.
After listening to a wide range of music varying from jazz, rock, pop, classical, opera. I have heard many details which I did not hear from my previous set. Many people ask which is the best set, but to be honest there is no best set. What matters is how you will be using it. The T3 is perfect for music for me, never failed to put a smile on my face.
