Strengths:
-Quiet -Easy to install -Very effective -Comes with everything you need
Weaknesses:
-None for me. But if you buy a cheap mid-tower you will likely need to remove the motherboard to install. Decent quality cases will allow you access to the other side of the CPU on the motherboard.
Summary:
Noticed a big difference in CPU temps. i5 2500k o/c'd to 4.5ghz now runs at 60C (down 30 degrees) during a 15minute prime95 session. Easy to install but be mindful of your RAM - large ram will likely get in the way depending on your motherboard. There are better looking coolers out there but not for anything less than double the price of this one. If you are a moderate o/c'er - get this. No need for anything else :D

Awesome!

Came with thermal paste quiet very effective
Weaknesses:
none
Summary:
The stock cooler that came with FX-8120 was terrible and noisy and decided to give this a try due to a lot of positive reviews. This thing is awesome! Brought down my idle temp from 50 deg.c down to 33deg.c Imagine how much cooler it'll be by adding a second fan.

Great cooler

Awsome cooler for the money spent. Install is a little tricky but I don't see a need to knock off a star for that. Just takes a little thinking ahead. And yes I also recommend filling in the gaps where the heatpipes contact the CPU as you would putting thermal grease on a CPU, no biggie. Dropped temps 10-15 degrees pending on what applications are running.
Weaknesses:
1.5 cm to tall, had to alter case slightly and heat pipes nubs that stick out on top of fins (Nzxt full phantom case btw). Covers a ram slot so be advised to install ram before putting this thing on. -1 star for that
Summary:
Great bang for your buck IMO. Just do research before installing this into your case or you may have to mod your case a bit or return for one that fits.

Cool Cooler

Really keeps the cpu cool. I saw about a 20 degree difference from stock.
Weaknesses:
LIttle tricky to install. Really take your time. Looses one star for this. If the install manual was just a bit clearer, it would be a perfect product.
Summary:
I really like this cooler. For the price, it's a necessary option in the box. I ran the stock fins and fan but it really sucks. I'm running an older Q6600 and it definitely doesn't like to play when the temperature hits over 70 degrees. I did a stress test with this new cpu cooler, and the temperature just started to touch only 50 degrees. Needless to say, this pc is super stable now.

Excellent Value for the Money, HUGE Cooler

Strengths:
Size Dropped Stock CPU temps by about 10 degrees Almost noiseless (single fan only) Challenging install (instruction diagrams tiny and little wording) Comes with brackets for optional 2nd 120 mm fan 4 Pin PWM variable speed fan included Lots of mounting options
Weaknesses:
Size
Summary:
Purchased this CPU cooler to cool an archaic E8400 Core 2 Duo CPU enough to keep it stable and cool at 3.6 Ghz. With a stock fan at stock speeds my CPU sat around the 40 to 45 degree mark idle, 50+ on higher loads like gaming and running several CPU intensive applications. This unit dropped stock temps by over 10 degrees. Impressive and a huge return for a very small investment IMO but you absolutely MUST test fit or you MIGHT be sorry. Right now i'm sitting 33 degrees idle at 3.6 Ghz

Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler Review

Strengths:
Simple to install. High Quality air CPU Cooler. It is very forgivable when installing. Note for 2011 sockets, there is a new bracket required, but has to be ordered from Corsair (I believe it is free), until the new kits start to replace the older models. Quiet cooler.
Weaknesses:
There is only one minor weakness, the plate has some grooves in it that should be filled with thermal paste before installation. The dot method is not recommended you should take a business card or other ridged card and evenly spread the paste along the cooler block before installation as to fill the grooves (caused by the pipes). NOT a weakness, but buyers should ensure that they test mount the cooler before installation to ensure it does not interfer with their RAM.
Summary:
Recommended for use by non professional builders and builders due to ease of installation and quality.

Strengths:
-Above average cooling performance -Includes thermal paste -Includes extra fan mount -Looks good in case
Weaknesses:
-Less than a centimeter from my case window (not really a weakness) -if installed on a tight mobo may interfere with dimm- -Leaves no room for certain side panel fans in most case sizes -Pretty much impossible to install without removing mobo from case -Had to slightly alter the mounting bracket to use with my am3+ mobo (does not support all am3+ boards) -Included fan has very long wire... not a bad thing but extra cable management was required so it wouldn't get caught in the fan
Summary:
Very good buy for the price. Not the best cpu cooler out there but far from the worst. I am happy with this product so far.

Great Cooler.

Strengths:
I installed this CPU Cooler to replace my Phenom II X4 980's stock cooler (which was very noisy). After reading some reviews, I decided on the Hyper212 Plus as well as an after market Cooler Master fan to replace the one that comes with the Hyper212. The fan I bought (featured on this site- 120MM CM Blue LED Fan) runs at about 2000 RPM and only pushes roughly 20 DBa. This cooler is a sturdy design and still keeps my CPU cooler then the original stock cooler. Very easy to install.
Weaknesses:
The unit itself is quite large. I did not have any issues mounting it inside my Thermaltake V3 Black Edition case, but I could see where people would have an issue. If your memory slots are close to the CPU then you could also have issues. The fan on the Hyper212 cleared my memory slots by about 2cms.
Other then that, no complaints.
Summary:
Great deal if you're looking to replace a stock CPU cooler. This unit is quiet, affordable, and easy to install. I am not sure why people are saying it is difficult to install. Perhaps on processors other then mine (AMD socket AM3)... but if you read the instructions prior to installing it then it is rather easy. Replaced the fan that came with it with an even quieter one. My computer no longer sounds like an airplane taking off.

Incredible value for money

Strengths:
- Strong backplate mounting
- Extra clips for push/pull setup included
- Massive cooling for $30
Weaknesses:
- May require pulling the motherboard from the case. Not really a con, since I want strength first and convenience second, but if you're lazy keep that in mind.
- Thermal compound included is a nice touch, but does anyone use it?
Summary:
Fantastic cooling, idle core temp is several degrees lower than ambient air temp. Universal application makes it easy to install on almost all sockets. Perfect for overclockers and anyone looking a cost efficient and effective CPU cooler.

Strengths:
Cool
Quieter than the rest of my fans
Huge...good for me
Weaknesses:
Gets in the way of RAM modules with any kind of heatspreader (even small ones heatspreaders)
Kind of difficult to put on with one person
Summary:
Huge can be a good or bad thing. I have a big case, so the size of the cooler is great - keeps my 2600K under 50C @ 4.8 GHz when I'm running it pretty hard. One knock on this thing is that if you have it in a "push" setup with the fan, then it will likely get in the way of at least one of your RAM sticks. Fortunately, I only had 2 so I had a workaround.
