Awesome keyboard. Don't bother on X58 though. Anything else, I couldn't recommend it more. Logitech blames the chipset, nothing out there to fix it. Oh well.

Incredible

Strengths:
- The screen is actually really nice. The first time I watched YouTube on it my jaw fell open.
- The applications look SO much better on here than the G15 I had before. It makes a big difference.
- Change the colour of the backlighting.
- Overall quality feel
Weaknesses:
- Ok fine, it's a little expensive. I don't even care though, it is awesome and I think it was worth it.
Summary:
I have an i7 on an X58 platform, and this has worked perfectly. i7 965 @ 3.8ghz. So not sure why the other reviewer had a problem.

I really like this keyboard, the screen is amazing, and the keys feel great. I didn't buy it to record macros and such, but maybe I'll learn how. Also, the volume roller is really nice. It's just a great keyboard.

Good keyboard, except:

Doesn't work with X58 / 1356
Check out logitech forums before purchase.
Stuck keys, gaming or otherwise
exacerbated by overclock or Xfire / SLI use
If you have that chipset and aren't overclocking or doing Xfire / SLI believe me, you don't need this keyboard.
Summary:
This keyboard actually served me quite well, though it was WAY more than I needed for my purposes. I got sucked in by neat-ology and was reasonably satisfied with it until I got into the I7 and overclocked it. Then I started getting stuck keys. Then it wouldn't respond at all- as if it wasn't plugged in.

This isn't an isolated problem. If you have that system, until mobo manufacturers state it's fixed it will not work. The problem is that the keyboard is in essence plugged into its own hub.

From G15 to G19

Strengths:
- Relatively normal sized keyboard considering the extra keys
- Better quality feel than G15
- Can change LEDs to any colour
- Full USB 2.0 powered hub
Weaknesses:
- Price
Summary:
I upgraded from a G15 v.2 to this G19 and although the cost is quite high, there are enough benefits to make it worth while. Although the keyboard requires additional AC power, this means that it won't be drawing from the USB ports on your system. This also means, the USB hub is now powered. Lastly, the additional keys feel much higher quality compared to the G15 (media keys, M1-M2-M3, etc...). Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
