Pretty good AP

- I dried the lower-end class APs from DLink, but this AP work better compared to others - more uptime. The PoE is a powerful features, but not necessarily something worth investing in unless you need the option.
- Weaknesses:
- The AP will drop clients usually when they do constant traffic. Sometimes connection drops when talking on Skype for 30 mins. When copying large files - heavy traffic, the AP will drop you, but it will recover - no AP restart needed. IPv4 only. The transfer rate is small - about 1-3MBps. Will not scale to more even if adjusting transmission power or the encryption.
- Summary:
- I have 2 of these APs deployed in different environments and they behave the same way. Light traffic - OK. Heavy or constant trafiic - drops. Pretty good for home use, but not that great for business. A step ahead, compared to other lower DLink products. Needs improvement.
A good, stable AP
