good wattage rating
plenty of modular cables
useful non-modular cables (nothing unneeded to speak of)
Nice packaging
Quality build
quiet operation
what more can you ask for out of a power supply? I mean unless it can make me a sandwich i'm not upgrading now that i have this. I love it, this is one of the components you want to install and never have to think about or tinker with again, and it does that very very well.
Weaknesses:
I haven't found any yet, and i doubt it has any.
cable length is a common psu complaint. I've already done my cable management and all that business, the cables were plenty long enough for my Antec 300.
i really doubt there's any weaknesses as long as your setup needs <750W.
Summary:
I'd recommend this to anyone out there who'd shopping for a good moderate-draw setup.
intel e8400
4g corsair 1066 memory
one sata caviar black
2 crossfired 4870 512MB GPUs
one optical multi drive
Quiet operation
Awesome output
Great connector collection
Professional packaging
Adaptable
Weaknesses:
-none
Summary:
I know I said "professional packaging" and that seems odd for a power supply- but honestly, you pull this thing out of the box and you just KNOW it's been built to last. The packaging is sensational- I mean c'mon... a velvet bag for the connectors?! Awesome. How do I measure a power supply otherwise? I plug it in, turn it on... and it's on. 'Nuff said.
