Shaky reliability

- I'm using an LG GH22NS30-BK with IMGBurn to burn AVCHD discs and a Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray player to play them.
A significant number of these discs are giving me problems. At the very least, the movie will freeze momentarily, jump ahead ~30 seconds, and then continue playing. However, other discs will freeze up altogether. Some of the discs won't even finish writing successfully; IMGBurn will come back with "Write Errors".
Stay away & go Verbatim (too bad they're not hub-printable)
