Decent at best

- Bought this monitor as I needed one with a HAS that could rotate 90 degrees for the work I do however I am disappointed with the picture quality. Got it on sale at $180 (from $230 regular) so the price point couldn't be beat for a HAS but if I needed it for anything but work I'd be returning it. The picture is very poor beside a 2 year old BenQ 24" that cost me about $225 at the time ($140 for current one) so I wouldn't recommend it if colour/picture quality is something you're looking for

- I had a 24" LG monitor before this one, but it stopped working when it got knocked over. I thought the technology would be much better, but I feel this monitor is a piece of junk compared to my recent LG. I had to have the first monitor replaced due to internal lamps being different strengths. I have a feeling this monitor will be replaced again. The screen colour is so washed out.

- -had to take first one back, it emitted a high pitched whine when the brightness was anything but 100%. While Memory express stands behind their products, the IPR is worth it over the long run.
- switching between video inputs is not speedy, but
- colour control needs to be adjusted to get a reasonable display, the presets are very odd/off what's needed by this photographer.
-as noted, the speakers should be better to match the optical quality. My PC speaker (built in) sounds better. - Summary:
- Worth every penny.
Dead pixels, backlight bleed, color "staining" -- avoid

- o Had to go through 6 monitors to get 2 without dead pixels
o After 20 days of use, yellow / brown staining has developed on both in the bottom right corner. RMAing them risks getting replacements with dead pixels (LG policy: 6 pixels).
o Edge backlight bleed is significant (entire edge - about 1.5 cm width)
o Maximum brightness degrades significantly over the first 2 weeks of use - Summary:
- This is a pretty disappointing product. Just look at the number available in Clearance to get an idea of quality if you doubt this review.

- Everything is prefect. I bought one for myself and after trying it, I bought one for my son. It is more vivid and then the other monitors I have been using. It has a great stand and can be moved up and down to the correct possition. Very crisp fonts. All in all a Great Monitor!!!

- None yet, My girlfriend bought one on Monday (Jan 25/10) and I bought one on Thursday (Jan 28/10) so it's too early to tell how well this monitor will pass the test of time.

- This is a great monitor, I replaced my 2 year old Samsung 24 inch with this, this is a 16x9 monitor so top res is 1920x1080, my Samsung was a 16x10 at 1920x1200. This monitor's display is cleaner than my Samsung was. My Girlfriend has her computer (DVI) and PS3 (HDMI) plugged into hers, both devices work great and look fantastic. The base is good and very adjustable, we're both not using internal speakers so can't comment on those but any monitor speakers will sound poor due to their small size.

- I've had this monitor for 6 months now and have had no issues.
The reason I bought this monitor was due to the 16:9 aspect ratio. I clone my PC desktop to my 46" HDTV and because the resolution matches there the image is not cut off. Great for large screen presentations or family gaming fun. I highly reccommend this monitor.

- I had researched purchasing a new monitor for about 2 months and found that this one had everything I was looking for at the right price. My biggest concern was playing pc games with a high end video card. My previous monitor was a crt 19" monster. The difference between the two was night and day. I had looked at other monitors but this one looked the best and had a solid stand. I can't wait to try it with an HDMI input.
