- Strengths:
- Small, inexpensive, and easy to set up. Support USB2 and DVI with resolutions up to at least 1920x1080 (that is my monitor native resolution). I haven't experienced any bleed through on signals after nearly a week of use. Not that you would expect this to be an issue but plugging a usb switch in at the other end of the kvm worked perfectly. Includes wired remote control for switching between computers if you don't like they keyboard shortcuts. Manual claims to do apple keyboard emulation.
- Weaknesses:
- A poster below incorrectly stated that this switch only supports 1024x768. I may know his issue, sometimes when I switch back to Win 7 from my mac, the resolution gets set to 1024x768 and when you open up the screen resolution window 1024x768 will be the max res shown. Luckily if you hit the detect button the issue is fixed.
When using a mac keyboard you can't use the keyboard to swap computers, luckily the included remote control works just as well or better if kept near the keyboard.
- Summary:
Great little KVM, I waited years for one like this

- Finally a 2 port KVM that does 1920x1200 DVI !!!
I purchased mine in 2009 and, like Mr. Rushworth, never had any real problems with it. Picture quality is excellent, just like a normal DVI connection. The previous reviewer is incorrect in stating this product converts DVI to analog.
- Weaknesses:
- I do notice some audio bleed through when playing music on one computer and switching to the other. If it's annoying enough I just switch computers, pause music, and switch back.
- Summary:
- I don't understand the problems the other reviewers had with this product. Hopefully it's not a bad batch of them, because I plan on buying another one soon.
Excellent KVM

- Strengths:
- Works perfectly at the native resolution of the monitor 1920x1200, H:74KHz V:60Hz, Digital Input
- Weaknesses:
- None
- Summary:
- I purchased this KVM on October 30th, 2009 and so far I have used it with two Mac Mini's (Intel Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML) and a machine with a XFX GeForce 8400 GS, attached to an Acer x243w.
It switches between computers without fail using the Scroll Lock-Scroll Lock-Enter sequence.
The only regret is the price has been lowered $20 since I purchased mine.

- I do not have anything good to say about this KVM switch.
- Weaknesses:
- Summary:
- This product failed its Specifications. As the previous reviewer stated the best resolution obtainable is 1024 X 768. I found this to be the case. Also I was not able to make the device switch between PCs.

- Strengths:
- Nothing good to say abouit this KVM switch
- Weaknesses:
- Summary:
- The previous reviewer is absolutely correct in that the maximum resolution this switch will handle is 1024 X 768. Also it converts the DVI digital signal to analog. In my case i could not get the swich to select a second P.C. It also lost me my desktop background.
with reservations

- If you live in a 1024x768 world, this is maybe a fine product. If you want to go 1920x1080, it's, frankly, a very poor choice.
I am continually reseting/re-installing my monitor driver to force this thing to give me the resolution I want, and it is a major pain to go through the hoops everytime I restart the system.
For something that advertises itself as an extremely high multi media capable KVM? Just doesn't cut it.
