Strengths:
Two fans for cooling Thermal Take reliability 5-Year warranty
Weaknesses:
The two fans it has are horribly NOISY! Old school fan setup: the fans are laid out in-line (one on the front, one on the back), therefore the PSU actually does not conform to AMD and Intel's CPU cooling recommendations for case air flow (PSU should have a rear and bottom feed fan for proper case air flow). Do not use this PSU with out a 2nd rear case fan. Only has two SATA power connectors, both are on the same lead with an extremely short distance between them - must use
Summary:
This is a well built PSU from a reputable manufacture for not to bad money. I have no doubts it will last a long time. But the biggest problem with this PSU is that it is seriously let down of by having two loud fans (my system would be quiet except for the roar of the two PSU fans) and it seams they didn't pay any attention to several design details.

excellent for old and new PC

Strengths:
- has 2 fans to cool itself
- very good components
- good price
- since it has exhaust fan, it is also good to use it for older PC case that has only 1 case fan.
Weaknesses:
- has only 2 SATA power connector. If you have to use a SATA DVD/CD drive, you may need to buy a LP4 to SATA connector for 5 bucks.
Summary:
- highly recommended with the added 5 bucks for buying the SATA connector, the cost is not not significantly different from Corsair CX430

Quality Throughout

Strengths:
5 year warranty.
Spiffy "handles" on power plugs.
Plastic "fishnet" around wires keeps them seperate, straight and clean.
Fan speed control is inside the P.S. which frees-up fan plug on M.B. and reduces wire clutter.
Weaknesses:
Only had 2 SATA power plugs.
Summary:
Quiet and cool. Should easily last 5+ years.
