Better than you think

- The 8500 E0 stepping has long been regarded as one of the best overclockers out there. On water I was able to get mine to 4.5GHz prime stable, at 1.43V. If you're still in the 775 game, it doesn't get any better than this chip.

quite a workhorse for only a dual core - Weaknesses:

- I'm somewhat partial to AMD but this is an excellent chip. I use one of these at work and for only being a dual it can handle many tasks at once flawlessly. I work it hard with a lot of rendering and extreme spreadsheet calculations and the chip has rarely seemed inadequate. If you don't need a quad - consider this chip.
