Good When It Worked

- Using a temperature monitoring program (speed fan) i see about 10 to 20*c cooler temperatures on the components it monitors (quad core cpu, graphics card, hard drive and another temp i'm not sure of) when i give the computer a good workout.

- My laptop used to run really warm, probably hot enough to cook an egg on it but with the NC-2000, it rarely feels warm on the lowest setting. =)
As well, it's constructed out of metal instead of plastic, so its pretty durable and surprisingly light.
Runs very quietly as well, the only time you hear it is when its on the highest setting and even then, any kind of music drowns it out. - Weaknesses:
- Maybe, that its too big to stuff into my backpack and carry to class. But that's fine.
- Summary:
- Definitely worth the money. =) A lot better than the last two notebook coolers I bought!

- This cooler is an iceberg! Even on low setting this Zalman cooler keeps my note book as cool as a cucumber. The convenient speed dialer is accurate and the alluminum top is sturdy, has lots of cooling holes and sets the laptop at a nice angle to work atand the laptop does not slip. This unit is light weight and if you work on your latptop a long time it is nice to cool your hands as well. The fans are pretty quite, quiter than I expected they would be, but then again it is a Zalman!
