Summary:
I have had this for going two years now and it's still working perfect. I have found this in the washer and dryer twice already and it to my surprise, it still works when it was new. Again this is going on the third year soon and I have had no problems with it

Random/sequential reads are fast and consistent. Sequential writes are fast as well. I would recommend using this as an alternative to an OS installation disk or general backup drive for misc files,text etc.
Weaknesses:
write access time is dismal. If you have a lot of small files e.g. pictures, text. It can bog down and seem like a usb1.1 device.
Summary:
All in all a great device. I would definitely buy again. Awesome for big files like movies and what not or if you intend to read from the drive frequently. I would not suggest transferring pictures to it often, but as a consolation if you do get the pictures on the drive, transferring from it is great.

Ive had this for over a year and decided to write the review. Its been in some rough environments and was recently thrown in the washer last month and it still works. I have no complaints about this. My next usb stick will be the same one

buy a warranty!

I had to get this thing replaced 3 times... its ruber casing is just for show... it bends at the head with a little bump causing it to loose or break the soldered connection inside. I must have got a bad lot because my 4th one seems to be ok. BTW this product has a lifetime warranty. check the package.

Excellent buy!
