- Built from a nice thick aluminum. seems tough as nails and dissipates heat well.

- LOUD. get a 6 foot USB cable and hide the drive somewhere it cant be heard or use it on a network. Definitely the loudest drive/enclosure ive ever heard. I guess thats a sign that its keeping the drives nice and cool however.
- Summary:
- If you put it somewhere you cant hear it, its a great enclosure!

- Fan is quite loud and operates at an annoying pitch. It is audible over my desktop system which is overclocked and well cooled with air.

- This would be a great unit to add storage to a server or system that is typically not near the user. It's too loud to be used on a personal daily use PC.
