- I bought this one for my dual core system to help cool it off. Boy did it, dropped the overall temp by 15 degrees! I mounted this fan into 3 empty 5.25 inch bays using plastic straps to secure it as there were no mounting options there. Dropped a second 120 on the back of the case as well and now the noise from vibrating 80mm fans is gone.
