- Strengths:
- Looks pretty on the sales shelf.
- Weaknesses:
- I bought my EBR-2310 two years ago. Little did I know that D-Link has not updated the Firmware for this product. (The firmware is now over six years old) Never worked properly from day one. Required several calls to D-Link tech support to set-up and maintain - router would periodically lose communication to cable modem and take hours to reboot. Unplug, replug, call tech support (within the short warranty period).
- Summary:
- Sure call D-Link tech support at 1-800-361-5265. Just make sure you have your credit card handy for their "Premium Support"!
piece of crap

- Strengths:
- Its cheap, and will work most of the time.
- Weaknesses:
- The router, and apparently all D-link routers wont access my ISP secondary servers, so at times its useless to me. My ISP has nothing nice to say about D-link routers, and at times when 2 computers are browsing it stops working all together. Since multiple computers is kinda the whole point of having a router, IMO its junk. Don't waste your money like I did, and spend a little more for a decent router.

- Strengths:
- This is a great router for anyone who doesn't need wireless, very easy to configure as with most DLink products and has some decent features when the firmware is upgraded. All the people who are having speed problems do no know how to configure it properly, that is the point of firewall is to block annoymous connections(bit torrent, p2p) when ports are forwarded and the programs are set up properly this router will allow you the full speed you are getting from your ISP. Very simple to do!
- Weaknesses:
- Summary:
- The other reviewee's are just n00bs
P2P fails in every way

- Strengths:
- It works great easy to use until...
- Weaknesses:
- any p2p application is tried including bittorrent, emule as well as certain games the router locks onto that traffic only and blocks everything else. I even had it lock up traffic because I used Gran Turismo 5 online with my ps3. Router must be physically unplugged for at least 30 seconds before any other traffic gets through and p2p app can't be running.
- Summary:
- I've heard about the gov't and media corps trying to implement censorship on the internet as well as block file sharing. If dlink is invloved in this we need to act now.
Great router for good price.

- Grest speeds, I got 10MB/s from my laptop yo my NAS attached to this router, good admin interface, good management features, great price.
- Weaknesses:
- None so far.
- Summary:
- Again a very good router, not sure what everyone else is talking about with slow speeds, the features in the admin interface are far better than expected as well. Overall a very pleased owner.

- Strengths:
- it connects compter to router
- Weaknesses:
- Not intended to work with anyone who needs any bandwith. BOTTLENECKS speed to the point I thought I was using dial up internet again!!!! I had a hard time accessing web pages cause they would time out before opening.
- Summary:
Crap with p2p

- Strengths:
- Easy to set up
Nice admin interface
- Weaknesses:
- Falls to its knees when doing any p2p/bittorrent. No other traffic can get through even if the bittorrent is not using any bandwidth. Perhaps the NAT tables are too small?
- Summary:
- Nice router for grandma but not for any serious internet user.
Good quality router

- Strengths:
- Great little unit for the average home user not needing wireless ability
- Weaknesses:
- It doesn't have wireless...can't expect a good wireless router for under $100 these days
- Summary:
- I would strongly recommend that everyone has at least a basic router even if they only have one PC, the built in firewall is very helpful in warding off the basic PC infections. It also provides stability when surfing the internet or playing games.
