my 2 cents..

Strengths:

This pad is pretty cool looking and really comfortable since it fits to your lap as you sit on the couch. It does a really good job of keeping the heat off your lap as you sit there typing.

Weaknesses:

Once it warms up it stores the heat and seems to send my laptop fan into overdrive! I have the white pad and it seems to be getting little dark spots on it, they almost look like tiny oil stains, and I'm sure it's not comming from my laptop.

Summary:

I dont think this pad it worth it. It's great at keeping your lap from melting, but at the same time once it gets warm it holds that heat for at lease 30 mins. Personally I don't think a warm laptop cooler is a good thing.
