- Strengths:
- Purchased today, works exactly as I wanted it to. Paired with a 2GB Kingston SD Card, works perfectly. Don't know why the other reviewers are having such difficulty with it. Running under XP.
- Weaknesses:
- Feels kind of cheap but other than that, works exactly as I needed it to, how can you go wrong for ten bucks.
- Summary:
- Great reader, works as expected, cheap.
No problems, does what it advertises

- Strengths:
- Small, no external power supply needed, simple and functional
- Weaknesses:
- Feels cheap and flimsy
- Summary:
- I don't know why the other reviewers have had such poor luck with this card reader. I've had mine for a year and it's still working great.
As for the Compact Flash complaint, mine most certainly does read compact flash... in fact it's transferring 3+ gigs of pics as I type this.

- Strengths:
- None
- Weaknesses:
- Computer does not recognize the reader (have not had this problem with any usb device ever). Error message just says it has malfunctioned. No support from manufacturer if it's a driver issue. I suggest trying a different one don't waste your money.

- Strengths:
- Small
- Weaknesses:
- Does not support CompactFlash despite the description saying it does.
- Summary:
- I almost purchased one of these, but noticed there isn't any socket large enough to plug in a CompactFlash card. The sales guy agreed that the description was misleading. The product may have changed from an earlier model.
