5/5

Mohammad from Calgary writes:
Strengths:
Design
Fan
De-attachable base
Copper heat sink
Weaknesses:
Absolutly none
Take your motherboard out the case to install it.
Summary:
Excllent Fan. I have researched for over a week. and i found a perfect fan for my AM2 AMD socket. There are many CPU Coolers out there.
MY CPU temp stays from 13 deg to 15 deg. No one can beat this

Nice

Strengths:
Quiet
Really good cooling performance with lots of room for over-clocking...
Weaknesses:
Needs to be lapped for better cooling
A little on the $$$ side
Summary:
Really good cooler.
Quality.
Currently running Q6600 @ 3.0 Ghz CPU case @ 52C CPU cores @ 49-60C

Zalman does it again!

Strengths:
-Material( good quality product)
-Cooling Capabilities (My Q9450 is running under 30C)
-EASY to install
-Comes with ALMOST everything to install(see complaint on thermal grease)
-VERY quiet
Weaknesses:
-GREEN L.E.D.(Choice of color would be nice)
-Thermal grease was dried out. Better off to get Artic Cooling Silver 5 thermal grease.
Summary:
Zalman is by far the BEST CPU cooling equipment you can buy. I've never used anything else(I've done A LOT of hands-on research with other coolers).

Don't listen to 14 year olds or Mexicans who think this is over-priced. Why even LOOK at it if it's SOOOO expensive? Why did you buy it if you can't afford it? To give this product a 1/5 because of price shows how much you DON'T know about it.

You've got to PAY2PLAY, not cheap out & waste $30 on another CPU cooler only to find out it's garbage.

Awseom CPU cooler...

The CNPS9700 NT is huge and has a unique design. It definitely does its job and keeps the CPU cool. Its fairly easy to install on your motherboard, and yes, it DOES fit in the eVGA 680i A1. It also has a nice green LED glow to it, and it's not very bright for those who don't like their rigs looking like Christmas trees.
Weaknesses:
Pricey. It'll cost you a finger or two.
Summary:
Overall, i'm very impressed with the CNPS9700 NT. It keeps my CPU nice and cool, and looks great! So if you feel like spending the extra cash, and think you have the space, go for it.

A large unit but it definately gets the job done.

Wes from Calgary writes:
Strengths:
-Easy install for AMD based PCs
-Comes packaged with everything needed for install... including thermal paste.
-Once installed, my CPU is 13 degrees C cooler than with the stock AMD heatsink/fan combo.
-At 2800 rpm it out performs my stock unit @ 6000 rpm which is to say a gread deal nosier. Decently quiet for the performance of the unit.
Weaknesses:
The only complaint I have about this unit is its weight. If your PC is going to stay in one spot... no problem. But if you attend the occasional gaming session and need to transport your PC, I would probably remove the unit while in transport... at least its exremely easy to put back in.
Summary:
All in all this is a fantastic unit. I will support Zalman in the future by purchasing later renditions / revisions of thier cooling products. I give this unit a final rating of 4/5, as I am one of those people who take their PC out of the house from time to time.

Great cooler, waaaaay too expensive!

Strengths:
-Fantastic cooler at full speed
-Virtually silent at low speed
-Looks really cool (pardon the pun) with the gunmetal fins and the green LED! (Not that looks matter on a CPU cooler though...)
-Easy install on AM2/939 boards (no need to remove mobo)
Weaknesses:
-Crazy expensive (seriously, $85???)
-Somewhat loud at full speed
Summary:
A really stylish cooler that cools very well at full speed and is silent at low speed (but still able to cool quite well)...but definitely not worth $85, when you can get the Arctic Freezer Pro (or 64 Pro for us AMD'ers) for $30, for the same performance.

This cooler is worthless!

Strengths:
None, oh I almost forgot, it cools well?
Weaknesses:
This CPU cooler costs flippin $85. I might as well go buy water cooling or use a thermoelectric cooler for the price Zalman tries to sell this thing for.
Summary:
Buy a cheaper cooler with very respectable performance like the Arctic Freezer 7 Pro or get water cooling, none of this overpriced Zalman stuff!!! Oh, and coolers don't "bite back", I didn't cut myself when I installed my cooler.

Beastly Enough for you?

Strengths:
this cooler is truly a beast. with its green led and excellent cooling powers its one of the best air coolers available. fairly quiet at high speeds.
Weaknesses:
very bulky. i suggest taking motherboard out when installing, i cut myself on the grills, there very sharp...
Summary:
cools my 6750 like no other. make sure you have room in your case careful installing this bad boy... it bites back!
