Don't Buy It

Strengths:

None, literally none - this web cam is utterly horrible.

Weaknesses:

-Incredibly grainy image, worse than my Logitech from 5 years ago
-Horrible bloatware from Microsoft required in order to use it properly
-Web cam configuration options/settings limited and have little effect on quality of image
-Does not handle backlight situations well
-Mounting clamps are not versatile enough for all monitors, such as mine which has a curved back
-Unnatural colour capture, images captured are washed out
-Did I mention the grainy image?

Summary:

Completely useless web cam, not at all impressed. Extremely grainy image and limited settings as well as poor performance in artificially lit situations (such as rooms). Do not buy this, no matter what anyone tells you. Instead, buy the LifeCam Cinema for $10 more - it's incredible and blows this garbage out of the water.
