- Strengths:
- Good quality, Very Responsive and accurate, Please ignore the two hand comment from tom, the idea was to get closer to a fighter jet style, and it pulls it off.
Lit Very well,
Stick is Easy to move,
Cable joining the Stick to the Throttle isn't the usual less than a foot long thing, about 1.5, 2 feet long,
Can adjust how quick the throttle can move so flying a fighter you can have lightning fast throttle, to Flying a Cargo plane and have smooth acceleration.
Twist is Decent Amount of Movement.
- Weaknesses:
- Feels a little cheap, but it is very sturdy for the time i had it.
Stick could be a little tighter, but the Crappy plastic centering system catches all the time, (PRO doesn't have this issue it is made from metal.)
ONLY GENERIC ON WINDOWS VISTA AND 7 unless you want to spend hours setting up the software and drivers
Very little support for this and all the support you do find, was pretty useless.
Screen is Kind of useless on this version.
THERE ARE NO DRIVERS FROM SAITEK'S site anymore!!!
- Summary:
- ITs a good product, but i traded it up For the Pro version, which after I played with the pro it is Worth the upgrade for the measly $50, so Unless your running XP, I would suggest you buy the Pro instead.
Pro IS More handy than this though I would say not to buy this one, you will be happier with the Pro and it free's some clutter off the FSX desktop. (Radio Stack Never needs to be opened again!@) Reviewing that tomorrow.

- Strengths:
- Light up consols
- Weaknesses:
- Separate throttle - need two hands, difficulty durring set-up - had to use the on-line website forum for 3 'fixes' to clear bugs.
- Summary:
- I purchased the X52 when my Microsoft joystick died. It took 4 downloads & fixes from the Seitek forum to get it to work - and a day later it went haywire in the middle of a dogfight on Fighter Ace. I have re-installed again & still have problems- the forum has hundreds of people complaining about it as well. Went to a cheaper logitex that is easy & works well with no hassles.
Very good

- Strengths:
- Very nice throttle and not to mention very precise for getting a perfect hover :P
The stick is very easy to move and it is very good for stunt planes and helicoptors
80$ cheaper than at Future Shop
- Weaknesses:
- Overwhelming with 47-48 buttons.
- Summary:
- If you're looking for a very nice joystick for flying around in Flight Sim, or what ever flying game you have. Or if you just like the lights, it's very nice.

- Strengths:
- Fits great in your hand, adjustable grip on stick adjusts for hand size. Many buttons light up so you can find things in he dark.
- Weaknesses:
- Sometimes its overwhelming having this many buttons accessible.
- Summary:
- Awesome flight system. If you are a casual flight sim player dont buy it, if you are really into flight sims pick it up its worth it.
