Great seat, super comfy, love the red, really pulls you into the immersive feel. Paired with a G27, it's an unbeatable combo in your living room.
Weaknesses:
That said, it's obviously a giant chair in the middle of your living room and it takes up quite a bit of space. You can choose to mount it on wheels though and move it around as needed. Also price is a little steep unless you really enjoy racing games.
Summary:
Immersive, great design but will leave a $500 shaped hole in your wallet.
-Sturdy, of high quality
-Good seating position
-TV can be mounted at different heights
-Assembly of main unit is reasonably easy (Exception: see comments on TV mount below)
-Gear shift mount is well placed
-Comfortable,adjustable seat
-Fun!
Weaknesses:
-TV Mount has some serious design and assembly problems. It works, but not quite as intended and the included parts were a disaster.
-Says it is designed for the logitech wheels - not in my opinion. I can't get the five screw holes in the pedals to match any 5 holes on the pedal base.
-Keyboard, mouse and speaker mount package - For clarity it is "A", as in a single speaker mount, IF you don't use it as a mouse surface - don't know of many uses for one speaker
Summary:
The setup adds to the realism of racing and takes immersion to the next level. Good for Sim and arcade type racers alike. Seating is probably a bit to upright for F1 but ok for other types of cars. I wasn't able to find much info on the web for this set up but it appears to be a straight re-branding of the Apiga AP1.
If you can rig your own TV mount or use some sort of generic TV stand it might be worth trying before buying the attachment as the included screws and accessories are a cluster.
